Capital for Oil, Gas & Power Projects

High Desert Pipeline, from time to time, invests in oil and gas drilling projects or power projects that merit such investment opportunities.

Featured Project – Cogeneration Facility for Coors Biotech

A High Desert Pipeline affiliated company, Texas-Ohio Power, Inc. (TOP), was established in the early 1990s to develop, construct, own and operate independent power facilities. In January of 1992, TOP’s first project was completed launched for commercial use. This steam injected turbine facility was designed and constructed by TOP in Colorado for Coors Biotech, a subsidiary of Adolph Coors.

TOP profitably operated this facility for nearly five years with over 99% availability. The Coors Biotech cogeneration facility was sold in 1996 to eā€™prime, an unregulated affiliate of Public Service Company of Colorado.

TOP has put four other cogeneration projects into commercial production in the northeastern United States that have a combined capacity of 3.5 MW.
